I have a question, if these are for your 28 PU, the front of the fenders LOOKS
like it is missing? Where it meets the running boards and splash apron.

Is this the truck you drive 60-65 mph on the freeway??

Do you have any updated pix that show how/what you are going to attach the fenders to? The original bed had a flange on it the fenders bolted to. Your bed may be totally different now and wider than the original bed.

if you look at my avatar you can see mahogany trim going around my bed this trim is actualy 2 x 3.5 clam shell i stoped it were it should die into the fenders. I got dimestions of the steal bed and built it to the same outside to outside dimensions as the origional then the two inch clam shell was applyed and mitered, if the bed is not wide enough i will continue the mahogany trim around as a flange for the fenders. That pic of my truck you posted was taken the day I got it April 12 10 and my avatar pic was taken in mid June so 2 1/2 months i did alot to her and i used to drive her at 60-65 on the highway i have slowed down after learning more about the model A moter to about 50 55. dosent make much of a differance now though becose cant tell how fast im going my speedo commited suicide on me.
