Default Fuel tank removed and flushed, but more woes

Grandson and I, well mostly him, removed the gas tank and flushed it and reinstalled it yesterday. While looking over the engine compartment he noticed some burned wires leading to the starter solenoid, pretty much that whole harness showed signs of having gotten pretty hot at some time. We disconnected the battery and will revisit that problem later. Off to the showers and Mexican food, and drinks. Oh the joys of old Fords.
