As already mentioned several times frames do indeed flex a lot before actually bending .

I try to not push that point with folks not real familiar with frame work as I have had to correct over-pulled stuff numerous times .
NOT a good scenario .

Remember crossmember-x issues can be caused by MUCH LESS severe incidents . Bending side rails USUALLY takes a much more severe impact .


Go easy and don't be afraid to ask questions .

Others chiming in obviously have some experiance with this .
