Default "pardon my redundancy"

that old WC Fields line came to mind when I saw there are currently 3, count them, 3 active threads about original fans and the danger thereof.

You’d think those that don’t know about the problems of original fans are:
1. New to this site
2. Living under a rock
3. Both

For those readers here not well-versed in pre-Steven Spielberg movies, Badpuppy's quote is from W.C. Fields' 1940 "The Bank Dick". Terrific old car chase scene as the movie's finale! The poor car that W.C. was "driving"! It was probably junked after the shooting schedule was done, even though today it would be considered almost pristine.

"Old movie"? Heck, I'll bet some guys on this discussion forum even saw that movie when it first came out!
