Default New floor for the "32"

It's been in for a while, I'm just getting around to taking pictures and posting. It's a big improvement over the kitchen floor with linoleum that came with the car when I bought it. Now it's not a 100% correct but it fits my needs with the "39" transmission. The battery cover is on the wrong side for an original "32" and the round inspection cover is for my master brake access. I plan on installing another inspection cover for the throwout bearing shaft grease fitting. It started out as as Roy Nacewittz floor which was really nice exact floor. Cut out for the "39" transmission tower, stained it brown instead of the black preservative. Installed the anti squeak welting around the edge and used the correct hold down screws and washers. I'm pleased the way it came out.

I actually had someone wanting to buy the old kitchen floor.

I installed one of Roy's floors in my '32 5W a few years ago. Fit like a glove!

Pretty darn accurate too. With all the cuts and bevels it was worth the price. I had it sitting on the self a couple of years before taking the time to installed it. It's unfortunate he's not around anymore.

Likely it was way more than a couple of years as the cabinet maker who did the really good work for Roy passed away at least ten years ago and his replacement was a disaster in terms of accuracy of fit and hole placement. Roy eventually just stopped offering the floor boards not long before his passing.
