Installing new windshield glass
I bought new glass for my 1930 model A fordor - Murray and was wondering if anyone has experience installing the windshield glass in the frame? I have the roll of new rubber (or whatever it is) and it looks fairly straight forward. Any advice would be appreciated.
Curt

Re: Installing new windshield glass
Do a search on "windshield glass" or "windshield replacement" and you should find the information.
The search feature is at the upper right of this forum. |

Re: Installing new windshield glass
Not a hard job as long as you have a set of woodworkers pipe clamps and some Dawn dish soap. Make sure the frame is as clean as possible and you spray the channel for the glass with some kind of paint to seal it.

Also don't force the glass. It took me two tries to buy the correct thickness of setting material, as the first one I got was too thick.
