Default How do I install Radiator Splash Shield?

Do I have to remove radiator shell to install Splash Shield on 1931 Sedan?

If you are talking about the baffle in the top radiator tank: you will have to remove the shell, and remove the radiator. Take the radiator to a radiator repair shop. They will remove the top tank and install the baffle in the top tank, and then install the top tank.

If you mean the splash shield below rad,just remove the 2 horizontal screws on each side of apron & 2 vertical screws on each side & apron can be removed.

never gave it a thought he was talking about the "splash apron" !!!

Actually, you were more correct than the "accepted" nomenclature. Ford called it the "front splash shield'. what everyone calls splash aprons, Ford called "running board shields". I can't think of anything ford called an apron but that is just here in the moment so there could be something.
