Default Package shelf removal 48 Ford Sedan

How do I remove the rear package shelf on my 48 Ford Tudor Sedan? Many thanks!!!!

You will have to remove the back of the rear seat. Mine is out and in my basement so I took a photo. It's upside down so you can see the two black pieces and that section screws onto the solid wood piece that is darker in color in the photo. you should be able to see just by looking behind the seat. I hope this helps.

Many thanks!!!!! I assumed that I'd have to remove the lower and upper sections of the rear seat, but wanted to make sure before I did again. Had front seat and both rear sections out last month, but didn't think to check for the package shelf removal at the time. Again, thanks!

You will have to remove the bottom seat cushion to remove the seat back. It is bolted in place at the bottom.
