Default 30 coup fender question

Hi all was there a difference in the fenders from the early to latter in 30? I have an earl 30 coupe because it has a oval speedo , anyway my front fenders have the three divets for the rivets on the cross member and the apron over the running boards is two piece, part of it is spot welded and the rest is bolted. They are in rough shape so i bought a set of a guy over the internet, when i got them there are no divets for the rivets and the apron is all one piece? They were off of a 30. Was there a change mid year? Thanks Denis

After April 1930 all front fenders had a raised area around the
front mounting screws.

The later 30 had the 31 style one piece splash apron.

The one piece separate splash shield was introduced in September of 1930. You should have to one piece Running board / splash shield and the filler piece spot welded to your front fender.

The first 30 fenders were "Eyebrow" type where the bead came around from the sides and joined up with the crease. After a very few units they smoothed it out in the front but there are differences in the late to early as far as where the front of the crease starts,

Meaning the early 1930 fenders, not a total of only 30 fenders.

What about the dimpel for the front cross member? the one set has them and the other not? the ones that have the dimpels are the ones that were ones that were on the car, and those have the two piece apron with the split running in line up and down in line with the front edge of door, the rest of the pie shaped piec is spot welded and bolted to the fender. Hope this makes sense to you guys. Witch is the early ones and the later ones? Thanks Denis

Not sure if I understand the question but the top of the front cross member
has flat head rivets so there should be no need for divets in the fender.
Can you post a picture of the fender?
