Todays flathead distributor "dual plug"
Another flathead dual plug done and shipped out today. Packard unit with dual eight firing order etc.
Pretty neat distributor as the twin plugs can be adjusted to fire at the same time or you can space some degrees between firing times . I usually set them to fire at the same time ( or very close) but have read that some of the Flatheads used 3-4 degrees between spark plug firing cycles.... |

Re: Todays flathead distributor "dual plug"
That's one cool dist for a flathead. I built a Toyota 4 cyl dist that has 8 spark plugs for my Model B 4 cyl engine in my 31 Model A. I made an adapter for each plug to run 2 plug wires to one plug. The Toy dist fires one wire and 4* later fires it again. Couldn't see any differance in performance but a good conversation piece. Walt
