1932 Ford Roadster Lower Stanchion

Here is something I bought a while back from a long time 32 guy. It is a lower stanchion that is made out of what appears to be lead. Not sure if they were going to use it like this or make a mold to make some? Kind of a neat piece and looks pretty well made.
