Default Flathead powered roadster drag racer

we are getting ready for an event called the No Name Nationals in Sikeston, Mo. in Sept. So we have been going to test n tune a few weekends in a row now. It's down to 8.76 in the 1/8 mile. Also have a new 360 degree camera that I have just started to play with. If anyone is so inclined please check out my youtube channel. thanks

Phil it was great watching your runs. I'm experimenting with a two carb tunnel ram at the moment built the intake myself. NA Record out west is 140 might test the idea in Maine next month. If the MPH in July is decent might try the NA combo at Speedweek.
See you in August

Thanks Phil . . . was just curious. It has a pretty small bore - did you do that just to ensure that it can be bored a few more times?

I had talked to the guys that run the Thompson Door Car at Bonneville and they were running a supercharged flathead that was running 195mph in a modified roadster, so I figured they knew what they were doing, and they said they ran a small bore to keep the wall thickness up. Latter I purchased some stuff from Harry Sternemann including a block and the pistons that they had run in a lakester that ran over 200 mph and actually the pistons were even smaller at 82mm.
