Wow! Thanks for the link to the various stud removers! I have the first one in the list, but it just doesn't grab the stud tight enough to do anything...it just tends to spin on the stud and make grooves in it. I will look at either of the two Snap-Ons...I have a 1949 Lincoln 337 ci engine. It has 54 studs, plus 10-12 holding on the water pumps. I have beaten myself up...even trying the two nuts screwed on, tightened against each other, then unscrewing the inner one only has yielded about 10 studs...the rest are miserable SOBs to get. Thanks again
