Default Re: Steering box bottom tube seal?

Andy I thought I had a line on an NOS steering box end plate with the tube but it turns out it was the wrong size and I’m back to square one.
I have a 37 ford 1/2 ton pickup and I am in need of the 4 hole end plate with brass tube.
Any chance you can hook me up?
Thanks.
Mitch

Hey Andy,
I received your response but the Ford Barn site would not allow me to send you a PM because I am new to the sight and do not have enough posts yet so I must contact you this way.
That being said I would very much like a plate and $20 plus shipping would be great.
I can easily drill my shaft out bigger that would not be a problem as I already have the shaft out as I had to completely rebuild my steering box.
I’ll give you my address so you can calculate the shipping and just let me know how you would like to get paid. I can do PayPal, Venmo or mail you a check just let me know.
Thanks Mitch

I have a four hole flange and I will use it to make your part. I will see what the cheapest shipping will be. Thanks

I did a 2 hole and a 4 hole. They are slid on a 32 horn rod and also in a 32 steering shaft. All move freely. The steering shaft was drilled out 1/64" for a couple of inches. I show the jig for soldering

Andy,
That looks great.
I’d take the 4 hole.
Just tell me the total and how you’d like to get paid. Venom, paypal or I could mail you a check.
Thanks,
Mitch
