To answer expavr's Question, the answer is "yes" it does have a Cowl Vent. Being a Truck, and therefore very high, I don' have any high photos showing the top of the hood and cowl, but I have managed to enlarge this picture which clearly shows that it does indeed have a Cowl Vent. Hope that this answers your queation.

Thumbs down Re: What is this truck?

Here is a picture of an Australian 1941 Ford Open Cab Pickup on a Military Parade. Notice that it is a 1941 model, no V8 Pressings on the side of the Hood. Notice that this one also has Military Combat Wheels, as mentioned by cas3 in the previous Post.

I have no idea of how many of these Australian 1940-1941 Ford Open Cab Pick-Ups were built.
Here is a picture of another one, all ready to hit the road again. This one is a 1941 model, as you can see from the thick Trim down the centre of the Hood and no V8 Pressings on the side of the Hood. Notice the Military Combat Wheels.

Factory Photo of an Australian Ford Open Cab Pick-Up. It is really hard to tell if this one is a 1940 model or a 1941 model, however, judging by the shape of the Trim on the front of the Hood, I am thinking that it is a 1940 model?

I'd build another garage to make room if one came my way.
