Default Sears Adjustable Voltage Regulator No. 1431

Hello all. Anyone know if this regulator is 6 or 12 volt, and + or - ground? Thanks

It's likely 6-volt since it isn't marked for voltage but it could be for either a type A or a type B generator. The adjustment of a voltage regulator is very sensitive without a control knob. It would avoid such units. There is a reason it's looks so new and it's likely because it didn't work.
