1. Pair of adapters to mate '42-48 Lincoln front brake backing plates to '37-48 Ford spindles. These adapters position the later Lincoln backing plates in the correct relationship to the brake drum by reducing the depth of the Lincoln offset by 1/2". The adapters fit the backing plates and spindles exactly. See photo on earlier backing plate, (example only, not needed on earlier versions)
