Default 1928 Rumble area kick panels

I'm looking for some suggestions on what material to use to make the kick panels for a 28 model A rumble area. Has anyone used masonate or some kind of insulated panel material they can recommend ?
Thanks for your help.

I used 1/8" Masonite from Home Depot. It's less flexible that the original cardboard and doesn't want to bend very much, but worked out fine once I trimmed it and got it in place.
