Default Seeing through the rain.

Hi all, Well here I go again with 41 pickup questions. I would like to keep my vacuum wiper. However it does not function because the case seems to have warped as it is about .060" narrower midway through the sweep. This is sad as the whole unit looks like new inside. The truck came from the desert in Nevada so I doubt it was used much if any. The really odd thing to me is it's not a tryco. It's made by Anco the old wiper blade company we used to see at service stations in the60. What are the odds of spreading the case with out cracking it? Anyone have parts or the normal Tryco version of which we can still get parts for? Thanks Tim

Look up Mart's garage on YouTube, he installed a different motor in his truck.

You might get away with heating to spread it but be prepared for the worst. I tried to straighten a trico cover but the heat got out of control fast and bad things happened.... worked good on the second one tho.

Finding a replacement is probably your best bet, they pop up often in all conditions on eBay.
