What ever you do, be sure to cover that very sharp edge on the front. Most are like a razor. Really easy to cut someone bad. We put one member in hospital.

Thanks jackson i can push the lenses down and slide them in place but it seems to add to move the lens back a little and the gasket makes it too tight.

Ditto on the sharp edge. I got 12 stitches on the top of my hand. Was taking blood thinner at the time . Cut blood vessel on top of my hand. Hard to stop bleeding before hosp.

This is the worst piece of jewellery available for a Model A. Saw a child get badly injured at a car show. Besides that they look terrible. Wayne

OMG...........where is Ralph Nader when we need him? NOT

I bought a pair of those visors, but never installed them, and now can't find them. I was going to sell them.

The visor's sold back in the day had a folded over lip on them, not sharp at all.

That's what I was wondering, if the originals didn't have a folded lip, and figured they must have, because I never heard of someone being cut by them until this thread came up.

Find "Rainmaker" Ron Cloat on the "Other" Model A Board. He makes them.

I slit a piece of clear tubing it's length. Then slipped it a long the edge of the visor. It was then riveted at the ends,

I decided to try hand cranking my Town Sedan once. Much to my surprise it started on the first pull which startled me and I stood up quick. Cut myself between the eyes on one of the visors as I stood up. Blood everywhere, a trip to the ER and several stitches later...
