Re: European Classic tires
Some friends of mine in Europe used them and they are happy with them.
The VA dealer is closest to you. You should call them as it is afterall a vacation week. Happy new year |

Re: European Classic tires
Performance Plus Tires and others in Calif., 3 on east coast. See company website for distributors. Specs say tires are bias tubeless design but can use tubes, DOT rated. If they are nylon, they may exhibit flat spots until warmed up similar to the Lucas tires made in Vietnam.

Re: European Classic tires
I was very confused by that part of the ad: "Tubeless design (uses tubes)". Makes more sense if the tubes are optional.

Re: European Classic tires
Model A rims are technically not tubeless style rims. The "uses tubes" may be a disclaimer for legal reasons.

Re: European Classic tires
one question i would ask myself is why none of the major Model A supply houses (Eckler's, Snyder's, Coker Tire, or Bratton's) are not selling these tires?

Re: European Classic tires
Hello,
I am a dealer for these tires in Maine and have sold about a dozen this summer. I have reports they drive well from a fellow who use the 21" tires on his '26 Model T. These are similar in design to the diamond tread Goodyears and softer riding than the Firestones. You can order these tires through me if you wish. I am listed as a dealer in both of those national ads. They can be shipped from their warehouse in TN. Thanks, David White Kennebunk, ME 207-590-0180 |
