Default Possible clutch shatter

Hi 47 ford car with what appears to a bad clutch shatter. I have previously changed the clutch and machined the flywheel and changed the rear end seals.(Fort Wayne clutch). For the first year I couldnÂ’t Make the clutch chatter. The second year the chatter came back almost overnight. IÂ’m thinking a different problem. What would happen if both pins on the driveshaft broke or if the slip joint was too loose on the spline. How tight a fit should the slip joint be and would the car be mobile if the pins broke. Thanks

motor mounts and trans mount has been changed. If I ride the clutch a bit in 1st or reverse it does not chatter. Just wondering if it could be pin or slip yoke related. What would happen if both pins broke.

Good solid motor mounts are necessary, but they must be cinched down pretty tight, or they will allow flexing fore and aft and roll, either of which causes clutch chatter. I picked up a little chatter when I replaced water pumps and did not tighten the front mounts enough. Further tightening eliminated the chatter.

I have no experience with a loose driveshaft coupler leading to clutch chatter, but don't really see how that would be a factor.
