may not be consistent from the male connector on your truck to the female

I understand what it is you are saying about the wiring I am building this trailer from scratch and it is not the first time, believe me I check every thing, Ford calls the center wire an auxillary it would be 12v as well will need to look at the fuse box to see what the fuse is rated at , the point about the black wire for charging is valid and i like that idea.
