Re: Light rod and bushing question
Is this a repo horn rod??? I had to take some sandpaper to the repo horn rod where it rides in the bushing. Yes it should spin free otherwise everytime you turn the wheel your lights will switch to different modes. After sanding and getting it not to bind i use some grease

Re: Light rod and bushing question
make sure there is no burrs inside the shaft. the reproduction horn rods are bigger in diameter than the originals so you have to sand them down until they fit. the rod should turn freely, but not to loose or it could rattle.
