41 frame spacers
Please, please, please, can someone with a 41 tell me where these steel frame spacers go? When I lifted the body off 2 of these fell on the floor.

Re: 41 frame spacers
They could be steel body mounts instead of rubber. Convertibles had 2 under the front and rear of the door to make the body more rigid. Bill

Re: 41 frame spacers
The only time I have seen spacers like that (on a Merc. frame), they were on the front body mounts and I believe they were used to take up extra space that resulted after all the rest of the rubber spacers were installed and the body was resting on the frame.

Re: 41 frame spacers
Just as a point of information, 49-51 Merc convertibles used only steel body to frame spacers to reduce body/frame flexing.
