Muffler Question
Last year I put a new Aries muffler on my 30 Tudor. Since then after I shut the car off, the muffler makes a “tinging” sound for about a minute or two.
I checked with Aries, they said that it’s not uncommon for a couple of months. The car runs great. Any concerns? |

Re: Muffler Question
I don't think so, but, you might try loosening it bit and giving it a wiggle, then retighten to see if that helps.

Re: Muffler Question
Mine made that sound, I've not noticed lately, I wouldn't mess with it.

Re: Muffler Question
Mine does that, I just figured it was the metal cooling down (contracting). Many other things to worry about.
