Default Original quail radiator cap

I was at the Nethercutt Automotive Museum, in Sylmar, California today, and they had a 1931 Deluxe Phaeton on display, with what appears to be an original quail radiator cap. I was able to take a good closeup photo of it, for those who may not have seen a real one....

Looks like an early repop to me, if it had a thermometer it was for sure a repop. Playing is poor on mine, but this is an original Stant

Great, the originals have so much finer detail.

Casting ridge on the back of the neck is a giveaway. Chrome looks pretty tho.

I wish I had a dollar for each photo taken of my Quail in the past six years, some have taken multiples from different angles.
