Re: Tiniest Engine
Does it look like the Pushrods and Rocker arms at the end of the block only operate 1/2 the time? It may be the refresh rate of the video, but it doesn't look like they run with the rest of the engine.
I'd like to see the P-51 or XKE that is wrapped around that powerplant.

Re: Tiniest Engine
There is some pretty delicate machine work there. I hope I have time to try something like that when I reach retirement. Has anyone ever seen a scale model Model A engine?

Re: Tiniest Engine
I would love to put glow plugs (off a model airplane engine) in that engine with model engine fuel, I can't see why it wouldn't run. It would really make some serious noise too!

Re: Tiniest Engine
I always wondered...how they spark these things to get them started? Or, is the diesel method?

Re: Tiniest Engine
All of these miniature engines I've seen have a coil hidden under the base and run a coil wire to the distributor. Many of the threshing shows have guys that make and run miniature engines. One of the best shows for these engines is the one held at LeSueur, MN in August. They have V-8's, flat 4's, radials, and more.
