Default Insurance Rates

I've recently updated my insurance to allow my son who has just got his license to drive my Model A's It is costing me about NZ$150 to insure each of the A's for a year . I guess that equates to about
US$105 . I'm interested to know what insurance rates are in the States. You would expect with a bigger population spreading the risk then the premuims should be cheaper But don't Know . Just interested

In this litigious society with a lawyer and a toll free number on a billboard at every corner??

$200 US per year. Add the $250 per year for a $1 million policy for overall liability.

With respect to roccass' statement about lawyers (it really is true, you know), NY has no-fault but you still can get sued for a hang nail that appeared because of an accident. It also makes a huge difference in rates based on where you live; big cities = not good. That being said, American Collectors gets $159 USD for $300K/$100K (no million dollar rider though), and the car's insured for $18,000 replacement (more than it's worth, I think). Sounds to me like you're doing okay .
