Ford AA Owners with platform body...
I am in the process of restoring my late 1929 Model AA Ford Truck with an 88-A Platform Body.
In reviewing Neil Wilson's 1997 issue of The Double A'er, on page 12 he shows AA-5116-C, AA-5117-C, and AA-5115-B Frame Spacers of which are the "sleeve type", which is to help in securing the 88-A Platform Body to the chassis. Now my AA never had these Frame Spacers. Maybe they were there at one time but not when I drug it out of the Blue Mountains just east of Walla Walla, WA (platform was on the chassis at that time). Does anyone have a photo of them? I can see just why they are needed. Thanks. Pluck |

Re: Ford AA Owners with platform body...
Hello Steve,
There was some discussion earlier this year regarding the frame spacers on the AA truck forums, here is the link, I am sure Neil will chime in. Regards Brian T. http://forums.aa-fords.com/search.ph...&submit=Search |
