Default Flywheel/transmission noise

While the engine was down and out, among other things balanced the flywheel and pressure plate, installed new pilot bearing, new TO bearing, new input shaft and new input shaft bearing. Now when runs it has a wee wee wee sound when the clutch pedal is out, and the noise goes away when the pedal is depressed. Stethascope has loudest noise on the bell housing on the right side near the inspection opening. Not a loud noise (but present) when steth is put to the trans. I tend to think bad pilot or input bearing, friend thinks trans forks worn, maybe TO bearing(says he heard current TO bearings from suppliers are bad bearings) Any way, thoughts welcome.

Sounds normal to me.

There were some defective release bearings a number of years ago. I think the ones sold by the vendors today are good.

I would certainly not loose any sleep over that one. Just drive it like you stole it.

T.O. brg is OK or would be noisy when clutch pushed in. Pilot brg is not turning when clutch released. I'm with old31, run it and see how it goes.

Check motor mount bolts for tightness.
