46 59A-B engine in 35 Coupe

Nobody as yet has addressed my question about the difference in distance between the mounting holes. All I am familiar with are later (8BA type) engines, and I can tell you the that the difference between the holes is about 1 1/2" between the early ('49-'51) Merc pumps and truck pumps (when installed). I have heard the late truck pump mounting hole distance is the same as '37-'48. Is it the same as '35-'36?
