victoria wood
I am trying to nail the sheet metal to the wood structure on my 31 Victoria. Does anyone have a picture of the wood that the side of the roof under the gutter and above of the door nails to? I seem to be missing something. Thanks, Art

Re: victoria wood
Art
keep in mind, you have a steel back. the wood is different then a leather back. so you need some pictures of a steel back. |

Re: victoria wood
Almost, how is the the ouside. under the rain gutter nailed on? It could only be seen if the upper door jamb trim piece was not installed. As you can see in this picture the there is no wood for the nailing flange to attach to. Thanks, Art

Maybe side by side you can see the difference;

Re: victoria wood
As well as the piece of wood you're missing (as in Bob's middle picture) there's the door header cover piece(s?) jw refers to:

Re: victoria wood
Now I see it. I do have the two trim pieces but I must be missing the wood header piece. Does anyone have a picture of it or the dimensions? Thanks, Art

Re: victoria wood
I have a leatherback and I'm not familiar with the wood header and steel jam from a steel back. If they are the same the wood piece that screws to the header is 3/4" sq. which supports the inside edge of the cap which covers the wood header.

Re: victoria wood
I think this is what you need. For some reason this is the largest it will make it. Send me your email and I'll email the original Tiff.

Re: victoria wood
My 190A Steel-Back is not available to check right now, but I believe that the rain gutters are welded to the body on the Steel-Back.
