Default Please!!!!! 30-31 trunk tin photo

Someone must have a 1930-31 Coupe or Roadster with a TRUNK not a rumble seat. Could you PLEASE post a photo of the bottom tin that fits on the INSIDE, how many pieces or brackets are there? Thanks Bob

I know a guy in Shelton, CT who I'm sure would be willing to let you look at his 30 coupe (w/trunk). PM me if you'd like for me to talk to him.

This is the trunk area of a '29 coupe, similar to '30-31. Coupes and roadsters regardless of rumble or not all have the same rumble seat riser pan and the angle floor pan ahead of it. The vertical stanchions are also the same. The pan behind the riser for the latch is slightly different between coupes and roadsters, at least in '28-29 as was recently pointed out to me by Steve at Bert's. This piece in a rumble car as a distinct curve in it to clear the lid. Also note the sound deadening material glued on the inside of the rear quarters prior to painting the lower body color. Hope this is of some help. Perhaps someone will post a '30-31.

THANKS Steve! Four photos equal 4,000 words. I had no idea that back inner panel was at such an angle, lots of lost storage space back there. I'd also thought the trunk floods were dead flat. The rear inner panel I have matched the rivet or bolt holes on the sides. I must have a 28-29 inner panel since the four screw holes that attach it to the outer panel don't align with the six captive nuts on the 30-31 panel. I'm missing the rumble hinge attaching strut, guess Brookvill will get a call unless someone has two originals in good shape. Best wishes, Bob.........Oh, what is the bike in your avitar?
