1933 radiator support rods?
What is the correct length for the radiator support rods on a 33 coupe?
Thank You |

Re: 1933 radiator support rods?
The rods on my 33 sedan are 31 inches long - measuring from the outside of the bracket on the firewall to the end of the rod. The overall would be a little longer because of the thickness of the bracket and the head of the rod.

My car is a V8, but I would have thought the rods would be the same for a 4 cylinder. The hood and grill etc. is the same isn't it?

Yes, the hood and grille are the same, but the etc., in this case the radiator, is different. But I think I erred as according to the '34 chassis parts catalog only one rod is listed, unlike for the '32s, and I am away from my car stuff to verify that (I have both a '33 four and V8). |
