We are forming a new region of MARC for the purposes of hosting a MARC National meet in June of 2018. There are no members in Branson and so like Merrillville and French Lick a new region needs to be formed solely for the purposes of hosting the National meet. We have secured a host hotel with over 700 rooms and overflow to accommodate another 4-500 if needed and at a very reasonable rate. Branson, Missouri is centrally located and has something for everyone. Shows, dozens of great restaurants, hotels from $40, host hotel at less than $100, attractions, lakes, and host hotel is in an area of less traffic at 35MPH so very conducive for the Model A. We need about 5 people to step up and become regional board members to facilitate the forming of this new region. All meetings will be via conference calls and maybe a single meeting at the Radisson Hotel for exploration and pictures to put together a brochure for The Model A News. Hoping to attractive a younger group as well as Branson is for the young(at any age) so will have special events for our youth daily. Lots of good tour self guided touring available as well. Swap meet will have a community area as well where you can bring limited amount of parts for sale without having to purchase a swap space just man for a few hours for you part of the space.
