6v backup lights
Hello,
I was just wondering if there are any optional back up light kits for a model A with a 6v system. I know I could build one fairly easy by purchasing some standard 12 V clear lens lights and replacing the bulbs with six volt LED bulbs, but sometimes it’s just easier to buy a kit and stick it on. Has anyone put a set of back up lights on their model a? |

Re: 6v backup lights
It would require a manually operated switch. A person would have to remember to turn them off before continuing forward.

Re: 6v backup lights
With a modern car when backing I'll turn the headlights off. The headlights over power the backup lights, if more lighting is needed I'll use the brake lights also. Backing down a1/4 mile muddy field road you need a lot of help.
In ww2 in London the cabs could only drive in the city with parking lights on! They soon found out they didn't need to drive with headlights.
