GB, looks like you are pulled in at the Winthrop barn. Yes some of our steel lasts well. I just found a 1925 Velie that has very good running gear and frame.

Right you are, but what's a 1925 velie?

GB, a Velie was a car made from 1908 to 1928. It was made by a maternal grandson of John Deere. He went on to make airplanes as well. Interesting story but off topic here.

^^^^ And if you would like to see a neat example of a Velie
(as well as a boodle of fine old Fords,) visit the WAAAM museum
in Hood R., where I volunteer. The boys recently finished a long
term, "generic" resto. of a '22 Touring that was heavily damaged
from a barn collapse.
Happier New Year, gents; 2021 should be a vast improvement!
