Flasher Beeper
Hi,
Could someone please advise me how to connnect a beeper to a 6 volt flasher with the X-Power L - Load P - Pilot flasher setup? I intend to install an electronic flasher to permit my LED taillites to work, but I would like to have the beeper function when activated. Thanks. |

Re: Flasher Beeper
Thanks Mike for the knowledge. I installed an additional buzzer in parallel with the existing built-in buzzer in the siginal light unit. Wife complains that it is too loud. Have to wire in a light instead. Will the same connections used for the buzzer work for the light ?

Re: Flasher Beeper
I have used the beepers from Radio Shack.About $3.and they are LOUD.However, you can regulate the noise level by putting a piece of tape over the hole the sound comes out.Covering half the hole truly gives you half the sound.I experimented until I got what I wanted in an MGTD kitcar. Those beepers were not polarity sensitive, and marked 3 to 28 volts.I had to use two as my car had been wired with a two prong flasher in the power line, with no pilot light. So I used two in the outgoing wires.
