Default %^ F100 horn button

Does anybody know how to remove the horn button on a 56 F100? I know there is a plastic piece underneath that breaks eazily if not done correctly

Not 100% on the 56 but on my 53 you twist it then lift it off. I believe twist counter clockwise.

Yes, as above, but first unhook the horn wire at the bottom of the steering gear. Removal is quieter that way. Simply press down evenly and twist to your left.
