Default Old iron used in advertising.....

I've always liked the idea of using old cars and parts in advertising and signage. I get a kick out of the creativity that you see, not to mention that on occasion, you might even see some pretty rare items. I always try to stop and take a picture when I see examples of this and on a recent trip out to western, Kansas, I finally stopped to look at two of my favorites.

This old "Jail bar" Ford is a really, solid old truck....

This flatty has been here as long as I can remember. I get a kick out of it everytime I see it! I'd guess it was an irrigation motor at one time.

Anyways....I'd like to see some other examples of this from around the world if you have any pics or know of a cool one in your area.

I'll be travelling soon for work and took a look at the website where I'll be staying in Springfield MO. I don't know if the car is a static display, or there just for the picture...

... but since I just happen to also have a '56, you can bet I'll be asking about this one when I get there.
