Default 1936 Exhaust

Where can i get a complete exhaust for 1936 club cabriolet that is not made in China? Would like concourse correct. I have the correct muffler. That is what i was going to change but everything on the old system has been tack welded together

Sheldon,

With respect, that exhaust system on ebay is not "concourse correct".

Correct crossover pipes aren't a big challenge, nor is the correct muffler. The muffler inlet pipe and and tail pipe will prove to be the most elusive. Third Gen and Southside Obsolete are likely your best bets for NOS pipes and mufflers, as well as the correct brackets and clamps. The overall cost will likely not be cheap, by any means.

As David said, NOS can be found. It won't be cheap. The two folks David mentioned are your best resources. They are probably your best parts resources for anything authentic and "concourse correct".

If you were to combine the Third Gen and Southside Obsolete businesses you would create an Early V8 Ford superstore.

So true. I can't believe how many times someone has posted a desperate request for some part that I would think no longer exists.

The next post on the thread will be from "barnfind08" saying simply : "I have those".
