Does anyone know what the road conditions are in and around Whippany, NJ (site of New England Meet this weekend)? Which areas may have flooding and what areas to avoid.

I know Whippany pretty well, but I didn't know there was a "meet" there this week end. The only things you have to worry about are the Whippany and the Rockaway Rivers may be over their banks, but I haven't heard anything. Where's the meet? I'll go myself.

The host Hotel is the Hannover-Marriott on Route 10. Don't know where else they may be showing cars.

I had supper in that area last night...it's still raining, but I doubt that route 10 is flooded in that area.

I called the hotel which says "No Problem"
We have 35 Model A's from Long Island coming to Whippany this weekend.
Yes, we watch the news of the Pasaic River and see the floods.
I figure to take Rt 80 instead of Rt 46 after clearing NYC.
Anyone know how many registrations are attending?

Bruce, you should have no problem getting to the hotel. I test drove the grand tour last night and had to rewrite a few changes. The dirt country roads I had got washed out and would be too muddy. See you there.

Eric, the car show will be at Foster Fields Living Farm at 11a.m. I am on my way out now to set up signs along the Grand Tour. Hope to see you there. Ever think of joining the club?
