But it finished on Monday......................i was there.
5 hours 40 minute lightning and rain.

Either that or make it the Power Boat 500.
They said that there were only 30,000 tickets issued (and the stands looked like it) but when they are all under the front stretch grandstand during the lightning grandstand evacuation, it looked like more than that.
The Thunderbird fly over during the National Anthem is priceless and then the follow-up flyover at "Start Your Engines" are super special. And since the airport is just on the other side of the track, fans get treated to the special flyover when they go to land. Three flyovers that you don't get to see on TV or cable.

And everybody walked away from the mayhem on lap 15 and lap 200. Amazing!
The Fords had it together at the end.
