Default 1942 truck cab question

Are the cabs the same for the 1942 1/2T and 1T Ford Truck as in same windshield frame, doors etc? I know the Model A Truck cabs are the same as the AA cabs but things could change in a decade.

The 3/4 ton and larger have bigger fender openings too, so even if you could mount them they look wrong. There are some under hood differences depending on six or V8 engine. Those things can be swapped out though.
