Are we sure his posts were legitimate or a "storybook spoof"? He did ask a lot of very basic questions that anyone with the slightest mechanical aptitude could have solved. I'm not condemning only being a little skeptical.

The guy was totally benign. If he said something about Queequeg, it had to be innocent. His humor was right out of the antique jokebooks he liked. I'm inclined to think he may have become victim to baiting by a Troll.

He came across to me as a guy with a car that he was in a little over his head and needed help. I just looked at his last posts, and they certainly seem legit. I wonder what he did? Mods? I remember on the H.A.M.B. once a very legitimate thread got deleted, but was later re-instated. Same kind of mistake maybe?

I can assure you he is legit. I delivered an engine to him from California. He is a very nice guy with very little automotive experience.

And why was ken ct. Banned? If none of my business I totaly understand.. a bit rough when I communicated with him while he was rebuilding my 50 Merc carb and fuel pump. No reason to be banned though.? Randy
