Question Aluminum windshields

I need to replace the windshield in my 29 Tudor. The only new replacements I find are aluminum. Does anyone have experience using the aluminum windshield?

It must be hard to see through an aluminum windshield, I prefer glass.

They work as a replacement, but their not close to being correct in shape. They will fill the opening and seal. But it's not accurate.

I had two windshields that were perfect and I tried to sell them on this forum and our club swap meet. I had priced them high, then lowered the price to what I thought was an acceptable level. No Model A owner would touch them. I ended up selling them on eBay. Found out later both were cut down for street rods. Next time I have a good windshield it will hang on a nail before I do that again.

I have an aluminum windshield frame in my 31 pickup that i put in back back in the
late 90s. I dont remember what vendor i bought it from but it works and looks fine.
If I remember right I had to make a new pattern for the glass but it was not to
difficult. The pattern was different from the steel frame glass.
