Default Mirror glass

There's a 1/8" spot on my 36 Fordoor mirror glass missing the coating. What can I spray or brush on to correct this?

Yes. There's no reflection in that area, no mirroring, you see straight thru the mirror.

I have re-silvered a couple of day/night mirrors using an available re-silvering kit.
This involves having access to the back of the mirror and stripping all of the original silver.
Never gave a thought to just trying to re-silver a small spot, probably would work but I suspect that the defect would still be visible and would it be cost effective.
You may be better off keeping your eye open for a replacement.
Replacement mirrors are available probably for less than it would cost to re-silver.
