Default 29 A Brakes wedge won't turn

I am new to mechanical brakes. right front brake wedge will not turn using almost all the force I can put behind it. Cannot find a schematic for the brakes or disassembly. ANy one faced a similar situation? Solution? Thanks Mike

if you can, heat up the cone where the ajuster comes out and try to brake it loose, if you get it to move screw it out all the way and put some lube on the threads.

Be sure to use the correct 4 sided brake wrench, so you don't round off the corners. If that still doesn't get it to turn, you might need to let it soak with Kroil, or more likely you'll need to heat the fitting.

Get a copy of les Andrew's mechanics book vol 1, available from most vendors, possibly amazon. Also start collecting catalogs (free) from the vendors, most have detailed schematics of everything . Good luck.
