Water Outlet Neck Paint
I am getting ready to paint the water outlet neck and am wondering what if anything I am supposed to do to the inside surfaces? I have it all cleaned up and ready to go. Prime it or just leave it raw steel?
Thanks! Bob |

Re: Water Outlet Neck Paint
My preference is to prime all over, then mask and paint the outside only.
For sure, don't paint the mounting surface. Joe

If you are using powdercoat, then DON'T paint the inside, as it will come loose and plug the tubes. I heard this shortly after I had a lower pipe powdercoated INSIDE and OUT. A couple months later I saw bits of the powdercoating laying on top of the tubes. |
